Worldwide #Aeropress Fan @pstohs on Insta. Here is what they had to say about this pic: A little experimental this morning. Still working out the recipe but as-is this is fantastic and adds a really full depth cup of coffee with a heavy weight but clean finish due to the filtering: -200g of filtered cold water -15g of Super Finely Ground coffee (Turkish grind) ~place coffee in with water in an Ibrik and let sit for a minute. After a minute give the water and coffee a good stir and start a VERY slow heat/boil on a stove. Meanwhile... -18g Finely ground coffee (a little finer than drip, more coarse than Espresso) -150g filtered heated water (30 seconds off the boil) ~using the 150g water, bloom the grounds in the AeroPress [INVERTED] just using enough water to saturate, wait 30 seconds, add half the water, wait 30 seconds and add remaining water. ~rinse filter with hot water, flip inverted AeroPress (*danger warning* hold onto the plunger piece!) and slowly plunge in preheated mug. ~Once the Ibrik has come to a boil, remove from heat and let the grounds settle for a minute. ~rinse AeroPress, replace and rinse new filter. ~pour Turkish coffee into inverted AeroPress leaving grounds in Ibrik, flip over, and plunge on top of the other batch of coffee ~top with 50g of hot water and enjoy *Makes an amazing 12oz cup of coffee--And worth the load of dishes and 10-15 minutes of your life that it will take, if you're into this kind of stuff*
